What the table does not settle
The two vendors land on the same ceiling and disagree about length: Veo 3.1 states 4K with an eight-second maximum [1], and Kling VIDEO 3.0 states a native 4K tier with fifteen seconds [2]. Both generate native audio, both are API-only with no downloadable weights, and both are backed by a company that runs its own serving infrastructure — so on published specifications the only real gap is clip length, which is a genuine editorial choice rather than a quality gap.
A blind vote is the right instrument for exactly this kind of pairing. Voters watching two clips from the same prompt will not know which one had more pixels; they will know which one held together. Kling's documentation also makes a multi-shot narrative claim, which would matter most on prompts that imply a cut — another thing a vote can test and a table cannot.
